Welcome to Sam Edwards Jewelers! We are a third generation jeweler, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee and steeped in a rich East Tennessee family heritage dating back to 1934. At Sam Edwards Jewelers, you become a little more special.

Since 1934, the Edwards family has been creating special moments for people throughout East Tennessee and North Georgia as a multi-generation family of expert jewelers.

But today’s Sam Edwards Jewelers experience started in 1984, when a new apprentice began serving under his grandfather at the East Tennessee Jewelers Exchange in Knoxville. It was then that young Sam Edwards learned the importance of educating customers during the jewelry buying process, rather than rushing in to close a sale…..simply not our way.

Sam Edwards Jewelers prides itself on being more than a traditional jewelry store. Our expert Certified Gemologist Appraisers and in-house jewelry designers invest the time necessary to understand your goals and desires while educating you in the selection process. We want every customer to feel confident, satisfied and in love with their jewelry purchase and for them to know and feel that they made the best choice.

Meet Sam Edwards

Beginning in 1984 and faced with many career opportunities, Sam F. Edwards was invited by his grandfather to join him in his jewelry business by offering young Sam an apprenticeship position at East Tennessee Jewelers Exchange, Inc., in Knoxville, a company which his grandfather, Sam H. Edwards, had founded in 1957. The elder Edwards began his career in 1934 and eventually Sam’s two younger brothers also entered the business in the mid and late 1980’s and early 90’s.
